The San Francisco Inline Skate Marathon's full marathon features [$3100] of prize money in the Pro categories for men and women. Whether you skate the full (26.2 miles) or half (13.1 miles) marathon, it will be a day to remember.
Located in Golden Gate Park, you will blade a flat racecourse with smooth, fast pavement. The course is eleven laps along John F. Kennedy Drive, free of motor vehicles in a closed course.
THE MARATHON
The full inline skate marathon will be 26.2 miles that will be achieved through a series of laps around the course.
Competitors will travel westbound on John F. Kennedy Drive for the outbound leg, and return eastbound for the return leg. The racecourse will be COMPLETELY CLOSED OFF to vehicle traffic along the course, so skaters will have a safe course.
The first race will begin with the recreational skaters followed by the pros, concluding with an award ceremony and after party for all.
Race registration, goody bags along with race chips can be picked up on Saturday May 3rd at The Sports Basement (Presidio) between 10-4 p.m. or the morning of the race.
